A classically-trained bassist turned self-taught prodigy, Ebo has been captivating audiences since childhood, touring alongside Soweto Kinch, Kenneth Whalum, and Logan Richardson before earning his place in the celebrated Joshua Rodman Quartet. His playing carries a quiet confidence and precision that commands attention.
This performance celebrates Ebo’s genre-defying debut album, BEYOND, a kaleidoscopic soundscape born from years of exploration with collaborators Flanafi, Tone Whitfield, Sanché Ramírez, and Tim Watson. Developed during the pandemic as a meditation on emotion and identity, the album weaves melodies that flow into one another like life itself, moving between mind-bending grooves and meditative ballads.
